LA QUINTA — November 3, 2026. La Quinta’s waste and recycling FAQ says its next household hazardous-waste collection event is Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where the collection happens
The city identifies the City Hall south parking lot as the site and distinguishes this event from the free document shredding planned for December 5.
Potential materials
La Quinta’s household hazardous-waste information addresses paints, household chemicals, batteries and automotive products that should not enter regular refuse carts. Quantity, packaging and eligibility requirements still apply.
Check before loading
Ask city staff or the event operator about waste types and maximum amounts, and keep chemical containers labeled and separated. Residents can call La Quinta’s recycling service at 760-777-7046.
